oficial al trupei ABIGAIL din Bucuresti:
"Din pacate, dragi prieteni din Iasi, Abigail nu mai poate
lua parte la sarbatoarea voastra metalica si asta din cauza
problemelor de sanatate ale vocii celor doi solisti vocali din
trupa, Corina si Razvan. Repetitia de azi, ultima dinainte de a
pleca la drum, a confirmat necesitatea unei pauze vocale, mai
ales a Corinei. Totusi, va promitem ca in toamna vom veni
negresit, mai ales ca vom dori sa lansam noul album Sweet
Cruelty si in Iasi. Pana atunci, va dorim sa sprijiniti miscarea
metal din Romania mergand la acest festival." |

festival. Motivatia e faptul ca genul de muzica abordat de ei nu
se potriveste cu "tematica" festivalului. |

oficial al trupei SEAR BLISS din Ungaria
"After all these troubles we decided to cancel the show. I'm
extremely sorry for this, we highly appreciated your great
effort in the organization but things became so chaotic and
difficult for us that we can't go unfortunately.
The original plan was different and I know it's not your fault
but Florin's (he hasn't written to us yet). We were just waiting
and waiting for a reaction or the promised money for the tickets
and it became clear for many
weeks from now that something is not OK. Though you were great
to us that you offered everything which is possible (even the
money for the tickets) but things became so troublesome for us
at the end. I don't want to bore you with details but I have a
new job for two weeks and they don't want to give me holidays
because I've just started plus the mixing of our new album has
been re-scheduled to next week (when we would have been in
Romania), and a lot of other things...
Finally, the only possibility seemed to go with a van and play
on Saturday but we didn't find a van to rent because time is too
short and no one had a free van. We live 1100 km from Iasi and
it's not easy. So, all these things led us to cancel this show.
It would be too dangerous for us to risk my new job and also the
final mix of the album for one show. I hope you understand us. I
know you have a lot of work in organizing this festival and you
advertised us but this has been a bad coincidence for us. We
really wanted to do both shows as planned but realizing just two
weeks before the trip that one of the shows is cancelled was not
so fair. If everything had gone the way as planned with both
shows then we could have prepared for that. But it was not the
case. I think you agree this.
Thanks a lot for supporting us!! I hope you are not angry. We
appreciate your support. Good luck with the show. We are
definitely interested in playing in Iasi next time if you
organize a show. Then we can prepare things well.
